Mihran "Myron" Ohanian passed away August 7, 2016 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Born in Highland Park on July 7, 1933, he was the son of Manoug and Gulu (Keolian) Ohanian. Raised in a warm Armenian community, he graduated from Highland Park High School and continued with college education at Wayne University. However, those studies were interrupted due to the Korean War. He entered the US Army, where he served his country as a Corporal, stationed in Germany. Shortly after returning to civilian life, he married Mercedes "Dede" Seraydarian and became a devoted husband and dedicated father to his children and grandchildren. Joining the family business, "Denay Cleaners", Mihran spent the rest of 40 loyal years in the dry cleaning industry. Mihran worked hard to support his family and earned the success and reputation of high quality work in the cleaners. Away from the steady demands of the business, Mihran and Dede enjoyed the times they went on trips to Northern Michigan, Mackinac Island, or the beaches north of Port Huron. And, in his leisure time, Mihran was an avid fan of baseball and the Detroit Tigers. Throughout his life, Mihran had an abiding faith in his church and religion. He shall forever be remembered for his pleasant personality and for his love of family and friends. ****************************************** FAMILY MEMBERS: Beloved husband of Mercedes "Dede" Ohanian.
